A sampling of our inserts (sparklies and glitters), these can really be used for dazzling effect. Whether you use these for banners, text or clipart it will give your page a unique look.
These inserts were used on banners created at flaming text...just plain banners, but inserts can be used on just about anything. They work best on dings or silhouette type gifs, solid single subject gifs (hearts, flower) banners with transparent backs and names.
Inserts are easy to do, with a slight bit of Image Magic knowledge. First right down the addy of the insert. Take the item you wish to have the insert in to Image Magic, click on composit. When you come to the composit page you will see a place to add the addy of the insert...(a blank box with http://) just add the addy there. Then scroll down to the drop box, click on it and change it to "in"...scroll a little further down to where there is a box that says "Miscelaneous Options" put a check in that box. then scroll back up to where it says composit and click. You will then come to next page, if you are happy with your finished product, click on "output". Next page click on "gif" in the box...if what you have done is animated, you will use multi-frame, if not animated use "single". when you come to the next page, click on the gif above the line and transload it to your website...that is it!
You can use just about anything to "insert", backs lines, plain colors, create all sorts of neat things for your site or page, just experiment with it.
You can change the size of the inserts to obtain a different effect also...experiment and have fun!
